Another Day Off

Started putting the images together for a graphic novel I had nearly finished.But due to dishonest people I had an 8 gig flash drive stolen from a community library a few months ago. It was my backup, most of the work was digitally reworked hand drawings. This has set me back so unfortunately I'm changing the writing to cut down the amount of drawings that I have to redo immediately and give me time to do them late, as needed. And I'm changing the focus of my characters in Bogga Road Bill to a more serious side of animal cruelty. The new subject matter should be up by the weekend. I have been trying to find a way to look at the lighter side of treatment to animals without demeaning the seriousness of the situation. There is a few subjects to do with animals in custody that intrigue me. And am looking at ways of using these in comic form with my set of animal characters. Ahh. It's been another day off work so more time to work on finishing my graphic novel ( A snotty way of saying a comic) and finish some more strips for my others which should be up tomorrow. No money work for me tomorrow either. One subject that's bugging me is my new glasses which are causing a few eye aches. but OHH!! WELL I'll have to get use to them as no-one seems to offer an improvement. At least taking days off have helped me get used to the glasses.

Tuesday Night Aches

Oh!! It's nearly a week since I picked up my new glasses. the eye aches are a pain in the butt. So rather than whine incessantly I put it into comic form. So every couple of days I put up thru a character I named Lenny, an embellishment of my feelings. So every couple of days I try to look at the situation with humor. Todays release was how I felt on Friday. I couldn't see very well with the new lenses. And I wonder whether going back to the person who screwed up to fix the problem, is wise. I've been to another optometrist and it turns out my new bifocals are weaker. Strange! Funny thing is, I got the feeling that when I complained it was my fault. What is a warranty today? Well this little temporary character is just my way of airing my grievances. Today's little character was a fill-in for the other comic strips I'm putting up. As I'm not working tomorrow I should be able to put up the first installment of my novel In One Minute tomorrow. I have it finished but for some reason I keep finding reasons for not putting it up. And TCs Revenge has a new one I'm ready to put up, hopefully, tonight. I should be cooking tea right nowbut have work to do.

Friday Night Whinge

Ummm!!! What a week. Started off great. Expected to pick up glasses on Monday. That was a joke. Then surprise surprise. My sunglasses turned up first, they were the wrong prescription. So being a nice guy I waited for the others to turn up. That was a mistake. If they got one wrong why wouldn't they get them both wrong. They did.Now $340 later 2 pair of glasses and it's my fault. They did the tests properly and their reading is accurate. So what to do now either let them do more tests or wander around in a blur and save more money and stress. Who wants to see everything anyway. Imagine the tings I miss, I can't read the signs telling me what to do, can't read the price on items I like. Oh shite!! I can't see how much my wife is spending. Aahh there is motivation,some things are worth seeing. Seriously I think I'll wait a couple of weeks then go on the other side of town and get tested at a personally recommended place and leave it at that(I hope).

Tuesday Night Blues

I just finished adding to my site. Oh well at least it seems to work. Should be able to add to it again tomorrow. I'm going to use this blog as a diary for my uploads .I t might inspire me to work harder on it. Only started fixing it up properly 2 months ago. What is it made up of? Mostly comics I've been putting together over the last 3 decades. Today I changed the layout and introduced main pages for 3 of the characters with a story of who they are.
